Me and my husband stayed for 1 night in one of the self catering cottages. We were in Scotland for mainly a business trip but wanted somewhere comfy to stop over. The accommodation was 5* very clean, tidy, cosy and warm and had the wow factor with the lovely bath tub in the bedroom. This was perfect for us after a very long drive up from Yorkshire. Pam was the perfect host and she made us feel very welcome and was on hand to reccomend places to eat out at. The only downside to this was that we couldn't stay longer then the 1 night, but we will certainly be back as soon as we can. Thank you Pam for your wonderful hospitality. Lee & Jenny

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. I thought I had already responded to this but it must be my age! Sorry you have had to wait.

I hope that all went well with your trip south and that the weather wasn't too bad for your drive. Thanks for the kind words and I do hope you manage to squeeze in another stay with us at some point. I'm glad it worked for you.

We were booked with Kiltaraglen through our Isle of Skye tour group, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Pam was a delightful host - very kind and accomodating. She hosted a wonderful breakfast, I'd highly recommend the porridge with her honey/whiskey sauce. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was complete with a large bath tub, which was very welcome after exploring in the cold November weather. Would love to stay with them again.

Wow, thanks for that!

We for our part would love to welcome you back. It's very kind of you to take the time and review us. We have (Storm) Caroline with us at the moment, so you wouldn't want to be visiting us now, though we are still cosy and warm inside!
Best wishes to you and thanks again.

A friend and I chose the Garden Cottage at the Kiltaraglen House. It was a wonderful 3 night stay for us. Two bedrooms, a large bath, large living and kitchen. There were only 2 of us; however, the cottage could easily accommodate 4 or 5 people.
A large parking lot is available to all who stay here.

There is a CO-OP in Portree so we could pick up what we wanted for breakfast or other meals. Restaurants in Portree have wonderful food so we had dinner "out" every night. Be sure and make reservations at your restaurant of choice in Portree.

The cottage has a large refrigerator.

The owners are wonderful people. It's a peaceful place to stay.

Stayed here last week after managing to get a cancellation.

The quality of the 2 night stay was excellent. They operate a very relaxed established, great breakfast etc, you never feel hurried or bothered.

It's about a 12 minute walk into town.

A very good stay and highly recommended.

Would definitely stay again.

Slight confusion at check in but only because poor Pam had been very poorly and Kevin gave us a wonderful warm welcome. We really hope she recovers soon!! The little self catering Annexe was perfect for our stay - dinky but ideal for a couple. The decor had been done really well and the bath in the bedroom was such a nice romantic touch. They provided absolutely everything we could think of... even a jug of fresh milk in the fridge which we thought was so sweet! The location just outside Portree was perfect for amenities but nice and quiet (sheep in field next door were great to watch). Super soft towels and robes upstairs were a lovely touch and if we return to Skye there's no where else we'll want to stay!!
