We enjoyed a drink at the MishNish Hotel and bar followed by a delicious meal at the MishDish Restaurant in Tobermory.
The service was excellent, speedy and friendly and the food was simply delicious. The price was on the higher side of reasonable but worth it for the quality. We both had Cullen Skink to start which, if you don't know, is a creamy smoked haddock and potato soup, rather like a chowder. Don't be put off by the name, it is really tasty but also very filling, so make sure you are hungry or do as I did and order two starters. My husband had the traditional fish and chips to follow and I had the crab cakes - everything was fresh and very tasty and the portions were generous. We enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon blank and left the MishDish feeling very pleased we'd followed recommendations to go there however you do need to book as they get very busy, particularly at weekends.
