Description: This small inauspicious fish restaurant is fast gaining nationwide recognition as one of the best and most exciting places to eat in Scotland. With a superb location & stunning sea views on the upper floor of the Calmac building on Tobermory pier, and their own fishing boat landing fresh local shellfish - its an experience not to be missed. Just turn up unannounced for lunch, but book in advance for dinner. Lots on offer for non fish eaters too.

Lots to choose from in starters and mains, effort has even been made with desserts with homemade pavlova among others being a refreshing change to the usual offerings.
Crab cakes, Cullen skink, fish stew and pistachio crusted fillet of sea bass all to be recommended.

This was my second visit to Cafe Fish and I was not disappointed! The quality of the seafood is truly amazing - I had the special of the day - sea bream and it was cooked to perfection with an incredibly tasty sauce.
My husband had the lemon sole and was also very happy!
Atmosphere was slightly lacking, which is a shame for the quality of this place, but the staff were chatty and helpful.
The aborino wine was lovely too.

Catching up on a visit in July. This is Fine Dining in the sense of excellent sea food and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere as opposed to the stuffy formalities associated with classic food. Forget camp waiters in suits two sizes too small, think of enthusiastic and knowledgeable young serving staff in jeans and in one case, an Eastern European in a kilt! Ad a lively but by no means excessive background sound track and above all some delicious fresh sea food and you have the basis of a great evening.

We had an amazing evening meal and the choice was almost impossible. Helpful staff and if you are visiting the Island then a booking is to be suggested.

Great food in a wonderful setting. The staff are very attentive and the seafood is out of this world! If you are looking for a great way to finish your holiday on Mull this is the place to go. You do need to book early because it is a small restaurant which gets very busy because of it reputation!
