We had two meals and both were good quality pub food and the draught bitter was more than acceptable

Would give it no stars but have to put one!! Called in for a meal on way back to cottage after a good day out exploring. What a disappointment!!! Over cooked almost dry small fish bulked up with frozen chips n frozen peas. Pizza wasn’t any better!! Soggy thin n wet in centre with thick hard crust. Glutinous cheese. Door continually left open with cold wind blowing into the bar area. Over the top Bar man. With an unbelievable excuse as to why the don’t stock the local island whisky from Tobermory. Far better food at the cafe slightly closer to the ferry terminal. Won’t be calling back.

Arrived for a 24hr fleeting visit of Mull and went to this pub twice! Super friendly staff made us feel welcome when we rolled in at 10pm off the ferry and had a few drinks. Went back before our ferry and had some langoustines which were amazing, quick friendly service again!

Whilst staying at the campsite nearby we thought we would have a meal out in the Craignure Inn, when we arrived and ordered a coupe of drinks and a bag of crisps, the pub had no draft ales or red or rose wine ! Good start ! We sat at a table in the quaint old building and observed a fish & chip being brought out to another customer which didn’t look too appetising ! Small fish - frozen chips ! My partner then picked up a sachet of mayonnaise that was in the condiments holder on our table which was 12 months out of date ! I then turned over the empty bag of crisps that we had consumed and noticed it was a month out of date ! Needless to say we left without eating here

I visited the Craignure inn on Tuesday evening. It’s a smaller pub, with brilliant staff. We arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed, but staff were more than happy to still assist. Barbara(Matt) made us feel so welcome and even entertained a few of us with magic tricks! It was better than it sounds. The walk is around 15 mins from the Isle of Mull spa hotel, take a torch!
The food was lovely- burger in particular was amazing! We would definitely be back!
