The hotel is a imposing country house just outside Tain. Room was chilly on arrival but was fine later. Lovely room with 4 poster bed. Bathroom was well equipped and included a jacuzzi bath.
Due to Covid the hotel only had a limited menu. Food was good but spoiled by staff to advising that certain desserts were not available. We decided to go for main and starter rather than a starter and main but were only informed that dessert I wanted was not available when we went to order. A little bit of staff training would avoid such an issue. Breakfast was excellent and made to order.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely old building and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone touring in North of Scotland.More
