Stayed for 1 night en-route to Wester Ross. Michael the owner gave us an extremely friendly welcoming to his home. He is currently working to improve the outside area, however once you walk through the front door you are met with an enchanting house. The bedroom was massive, very clean and the decor was new with a modern shower room etc.
Breakfast was outstanding and served in an old world panelled dining room with a log fire burning away. We could have stayed there much longer and will plan a re-visit
to this cracking place in the future. Thanks Michael and good luck with your future plans fo Linnmhor House.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked some trees - no view to speak of

I was in the area on business and stayed at Linnmhor. The TA reviews did not let me down. Michael was a fine host and it was a very enjoyable stay. Warm welcome, clean & homely rooms and an excellent choice of Scottish fare for breakfast. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.

Warm friendly welcome with Mochael having been extremely helpful by telephone before we arrived when I was looking for suggestions of where to eat
Good sized room which was immaculately clean. Everything was of a very high standard from the furnishings, bed linen, towels & toiletries to the fabulous breakfast which Michael got up in the middle of the night to cook for us as we had a very early start! ( he even appeared willing to do that even although we would have been happy to look after ourselves). Breakfast was super, with lovely fresh fruit offered as well as freshly made bread. Lots of little welcome touches which set Linnmhor apart

best B&B on our 3 week trip through the UK! Incredible friendly owners that go out of their way to help. Cooked breakfast, but very specially done, not the greasy stuff you get in other places. Open fire in the breakfast room, selection of about 10 fresh cut fruits, lovely old rooms, modern bathrooms - simply the best! thanks a lot, we recommend it, hope to come back some day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rona and Michael's charming, cosy B&B.

We received a very warm welcome and were delighted with our room. The bed was deliciously comfortable so we slept very well.

The house has been lovingly and sympathetically restored and there are some thoughtful little touches for guests, such as the availability of whisky and chocolates.

Breakfast was a relaxed and tasty affair with fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli available before ordering something cooked (the homemade savoury scones are to be recommended).

My partner took part one evening in a whisky tasting, hosted by the very knowledgeable Michael. This was an unexpected pleasure as we didn't know it was on offer.

Strathpeffer itself is a quaint little place and Linnmohr House was well-placed for exploring in and around the village on foot (we enjoyed our walk along the Cat's Back!).

We would return if we were in the area again.
