We dropped in to Cafe Eighty2 for a quick brunch last week. We are sometimes wary of small cafes...never sure what you'll get we have found that the location and outside are no way to judge what the food and coffee will be like.
We were greeted by friendly staff who were welcoming and provided great service and also accommodated a change in our order at the last minute...some great choices which made it difficult to decide what we wanted.
Coffee was very good, cooked breakfast excellent and juice fresh and tasty.
If you are passing through Lewiston, Drumnadrochit we would highly recommend Cafe Eighty2 for a bite to eat or just a coffee.

Drumnadrochit, with its Nessie centers and the nearby Urquhart Castle, is a high tourist area. It was pleasant to find an unpretentious local cafe (tea room) in the area as well. Stopped in for a light lunch on our way from Inverness to Isle of Skye. Sandwiches were well made and tasty and the staff friendly. Does a great job of what its supposed to do.

We couldn't make up our mind which of the above we enjoyed more. We were given an amazingly friendly welcome, offered an unexpectedly tasty meal and given a great cup of coffee. I can honestly say we have never had such a warm welcome from such friendly people and tasted such good food. We live in Scotland and are used to friendly service but the people at Cafe Eighty 2 went the extra mile and then some. Thank you again, we shall definitely come back and try some of the other very different items on your menu. To think we nearly drove on past as well......it made a very good end to our trip!

Myself and my wife called in for breakfast last weekend before our day on the loch.

What a find. The cafe itself is ideally located on the A82 in the middle of Drum on the route to the castle, the decor is fantastic true country chic with a wood burner ideally placed in the corner. The staff are Fantastic and so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and locally sourced ingredients they don’t rush you and nothing is too much trouble. The food itself is truly wonderful I had the traditional ( meat ) Scottish breakfast and it was top class my wife had scrambled eggs with Scottish smoked salmon all to die for The peace de resistance was the French toast with syrup mmmm again words do not do the food or the cafe and staff justice.
Try it if you get chance you’ll be gutted if you don’t. All prices really reasonable. Well done Cafe 82, see you soon
