“A gem in a central Scottish town”
Reviewed 30 March 2012

cafe Kisa nestles in the long high street in Auchterarder opposite the village/town Cooperative.
It is fair to say that it is for 'ladies who lunch' and very good it is too. Simple things like baked potatoes are done very well indeed and its prime site is an obvious asset.
For a moderate priced lunch it s hard to beat.
Very highly recommended.

“Cheery, friendly & relaxing :)”
Reviewed 13 February 2012

We walked out of another tea shop On the Hogh Street in disgust and Cafe Kisa couldn't have been more different - friendly and efficient staff - they couldn't do enough to please us. Food and drinks were delicious and service excellent! Thank you.

Cafe Kisa is the only place to go in Auchterarder! Keep up the excellent service - we will be back! :)

“Second chance”
Reviewed 27 January 2012

I really enjoyed my lunch this time round. I ordered the Steak sandwich with melted Montgomery Jack cheese, onions and Djion mustard. It came served with fresh crisp salad leaves and a melange of fruits consisting of orange segments, apple slices and pineapple. Something different, but nice. French dressing, mild Indian and tomato were the vinaigrette options, all 3 came on a plate and tasting each one they were all good. The music played was the sounds of Rod Stewart, which helped soothed my horrid hangover. Still feeling a bit peckish I ordered a delicious warm caramel granny apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Café is spacious, bright and decorated with big portraits of colourful artwork contrasting with the white walls.

I had popped in one day for lunch before but didn’t have a good experience. Previously the waiting staff were young and inexperienced (suppose everybody has to start somewhere), and the food came quite slow allowing me to miss my bus. However on this occasion there was an older waitress and from the minute I stepped in the door I received warm friendly service all the way till I walked back out the door.

“Wonderful staff and food”
Reviewed 17 January 2012

We have been going to cafe Kisa for several years now. It is one of our favourite places to eat. Apart from the food being great the staff are also. I would say that the staff are such a wonderful asset. They are so efficient and friendly. The menu has changed recently and offers more hot food choices. But please please bring back the roast beef !!!!
