Pros: Spacious apartment in an excellent location. Very comfortable suite in lounge and extremely comfortable beds. Access to a garden; ideal for us as one of our party smokes. Good shower, dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of cleaning fluids, kitchen roll, etc, provided.
Cons: No welcome pack so after travelling for hours had to go out and shop before a hot drink could be made.
Lightbulb gone in bedside lamp and two of the kitchen spotlights gone. Managed to locate bulbs and changed them ourselves.
Ancient crockery (I know this as my Mother had the same set over 20 years ago) and not enough of it to fill dishwasher.
Grill pan handle broken.
Frying pans archaic, one of them with extremely loose handle and long seen any non-stick qualities. No egg cups and no egg poacher. No kitchen scissors provided.
All bottom windows locked except for one in the kitchen. Does this not present a risk in the event of a fire?
No complimentary toiletries provided, as advertised.
Unreasonably early check out time (10.00).
It would take very little to update the kitchen utensils and crockery and replace the cooker's grill pan and were this to be the case, I would rate the apartment as excellent.
The apartment was lovely and very comfortable and roomy. The perfect base in a lovely location for all we wanted to do. Handy for the town centre, handy for the shore. Perfect
Cannot recommend this beautifully appointed holiday flat enough!
