Greeted by a warm welcome and lovely quiet rooms. Breakfast order to suit and prepared freshly every morning. Easy travel to Edinburgh and airport. I would recommend to anyone travelling to the area. Price was almost half a Travelodge.

I have just returned from a lovely 2 night break at the Dunesk Lodge. I was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home throughout my stay. There was a great choice for breakfast and it was all delicious, the room and facilities were immaculate.

Allergy sufferers; 2 lovely dogs live at the property (they do not have access to the guest rooms) and feather bedding is used

Dunesk Lodge was a stellar find! The location of this beautiful country home provided easy access to Edinburgh by bus (important to us Coloradans, who will never endanger the population by driving a vehicle in the UK), while providing a taste of legendary village life - the Laird and Dog is just down the hill! Accommodations were comfortable and luxurious. Above all, the owner was kind, interested and interesting!

We had this place recommended from local friends, and everything they promised us, was fulfilled.
Breakfast was great. A very good selection.
The rooms were just perfect. Big rooms, a very quiret.
The location are central in Lasswade, and very close to "Papermill", a very good restaurant. It's also close to public transport, cirectly to Edinburgh.
We have only good things to say about Marjorie, her Bed and Breakfast, and her two lowely dogs.

Charming house and hostess. Superb home cooked breakfast with the possibility to choose different dishes (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, black pudding, porridge, fresh fruit, ...). Beautiful room with very comfy beds and spotless en-suite bathroom. This B&B was recommended to us by friends and we will do the same. We enjoyed our stay very much
