“charming cottage in the heart of Leven”
Reviewed 21 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

we had a perfect holiday. Viewforth cottage was very clean , roomy and the location was brilliant . Five minute walk to the beach , and 2 minute walk to local shops. Bed was very comfortable , and the netural décor was bright and fresh . Roomy bathroom with a powerful shower and soft fluffy towels . Kitchen was well equipped . All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will definiitely book again .I would recommend Viewforth cottage to my friends and family .

A lovely cosy cottage near to the beach, shops & places to eat.Central for places of interest, St. Andrews is a personal favourite. As we don't drive it was only a 5 minute walk to the bus station.

“A very good holiday rental”
Reviewed 5 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Located centrally in Leven. Ideal for a couple. The couch was not too comfortable . A few scatter cushions would help. Biggest issue is that the advertised dryer was missing and with no external drying space?, getting washing dry was a major problem. Also, all the internal doors were stiff and require maintenance. The owner, David, was most helpfull.

“Good location for exploring the Fife coast, close to seafront.”
Reviewed 12 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Small well-laid out accommodation for two. Comfortable bed, not so comfortable sofa. Well - equipped kitchen. TV played up, but we sorted it ourselves. Needs clearer guidance. Full address of property would help finding it at first, but on the whole a good choice for a few night's stay.

“Cosy and quiet”
Reviewed 25 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Two short blocks from the sea and the promenade. the cottage is in a quiet working class neighborhood. Parking was easy and safe - there is a free public car park about 100 yards up the street; there is no parking directly in front of Viewforth Cottage. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and cleaning items are included, but there were no paper kitchen towels or a few tea bags to welcome the visitor arriving late afternoon from a long road trip.
Viewforth Cottage is quiet and cosy. There is a Saintsbury's nearby - walk up past the bus station and through an older, run down area to reach the fairly large supermarket. We didn't eat locally but there is a fish and chips and a few other eating establishments also near the bus station.
The owner was easily reached by e-mail and quickly responded to questions.
A great place to stay if you're planning a beach holiday.
