This place, despite being fairly compact, is bright and airy inside and offers a warm welcome. We enjoyed the most delicious lentil soup along with a toasted sandwich and tea for around about £7.50 which was way below what we were expecting to pay. All in all we felt that we got an excellent light lunch for an excellent price, well worth a visit!

Stopped of for a quick lunch whilst on a rather wet photography tour of the area.
Even though it was very busy we well well looked after. I had a cheese and onion toastie with leek and potato soup both were lovely. Staff were very pleasant and it's in a lovely village. I look forward to returning one day soon.

We found this little tea room by accident. It is up a side street. We went inside and upstairs. Don't be put off as it is quite small and does not have the usual quaint tea room look. The coffee was very good as was the homemade soup and scones. Where can you get, soup with a hot roll, coffee with a free top up and scone or cake for £6. Great value. This is a proper hidden gem

Great treat after a morning walking on a weekday. Might be disappointed by lack of space at the weekend.

Lovely wee coffee shop with 1/2 a dozen tables . The velux windows flood the small area with daylight .
We both had the £7 light lunch of soup , sandwich & coffee . Soup was really nice ( cream of broccoli , Lentil ) sandwich was packed with cheese & pickle , coffee was nice & strong plus a free refill .
I would highly recommend , Falkland is a lovely place to visit & I'm very impressed the owners of the hay loft aren't ripping off all the tourists on the back of outlander .
