“Lovely and relaxing holiday cottage”

We had a short break at Cotmore Farm in late July, and really enjoyed the experience. The location is very rural and it is impossible not to simply unwind and relax. The hosts struck the perfect balance between being easily accessible and helpful yet not being intrusive.
The cottage/barn is lovely, and furnished to a very high standard, with a delightful patio area that is just perfect for sitting out in the sun. Our children also had a great time, simply hanging out in the farm and playing on the trampoline.
There are some great beaches nearby (although you do have to drive) and we would recommend Burgh Island as our favourite.
We would definitely return to this beautiful setting in the future.

Such a lovely comfortable cottage. The location, welcome pack and accommodation has to be the best we have experienced. Very well kitted out cottage: in fact cannot think of anything that should be added as it's all there. We will be back!

“I'd certainly go back!”

We stayed at the Barn during the first week of rain after 12 dry weeks. The Barn is comfortable and well-equipped enough to spend a rainy day happily indoors. We liked the open-plan living space as it's generously sized; we liked the good video and book libraries. When the weather cleared, we were close enough to loads of locations for days out, and some excellent places to eat. We were made very welcome, as were our dogs, and being able to walk the farm was great. We also appreciate a very good welcome pack - thank you!

Our test of a holiday cottage is whether or not we'd go back, and we would.

“Quality accommodation in a delightful setting”

What a find...This beautiful barn has been converted into a fresh, light and airy place to stay. It was extremely well equiped and had a lovely terrace/bbq area to boot. We were able to wander around the farm which was a delight for our 3 yr old...he loved the horses and also being able to collect his own fresh egg daily from the free range chickens! Our hosts were always on hand should we need anything...close by without being intrusive.
The barn is very handily placed for some trips to the beach....our favorite had to be at Gara Rock. This was about a 10 minute walk down through fields from where they are building a new restaraunt. Once you are there set yourself up for a great day on the beach. We were lucky with our weather in April which gave us wall to wall sunshine for the week.
There are loads of good places to eat and the visitors book is worth a read for tips on that...in fact there are loads of good books to read at the barn as well!
In summary- If you are looking for accommodation that is a step up from the "norm" in a peaceful and scenic location you wont find much to beat this.
Enjoy.....ML.

“Wonderful long weekend, in a beautiful converted barn”
Reviewed 20 June 2011 for a stay in April 2011

Stayed here for 4 nights over the royal wedding bank holiday weekend. Well what can i say, everything was perfect.

The barn has been restored to a very high standard and has everything that you could want and need.

The attention to detail goes beyond what you normally get, and the location of the barn is beautiful. We were made to feel so welcome, and had the most enjoyable time. We took our dog with us, who loved her mini holiday as much as we did, and even made a new friend with Jack the poodle.

This was our last little holiday before our first baby arrives, and it was everything we wanted it to be. We would really like to return one day soon with the new member of our family once he/she arrives.

Highly reccomend this barn to anyone looking for a little bit of luxury in beautiful surroundings
