This lovley house in south devon is perfect for exploring the south west. Close to salcome and all the lovley beaches, great walks and great pubs. Have now been to Kingfisher cottage three times and still can't fault it. Hope to be back next year.

We stayed with at Kingfisher Cottage with our 7 month old twins, and had a thoroughly relaxing (well, almost relaxing!) break, away from the routines of home. The property is well equipped to cope with the 'small humans' meaning that we didn't need to hire a truck to transport all of the necessary baby equipment with us.
Day trips to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Blackpool Sands are all well worth considering.
Home-made apple and blackberry crumble was on the menu at Kingfisher Cottage, with an abundance of blackberries in the hedgerows around the property (seasonal, of course).
The weather wasn't great during our stay, but that didn't dampen our spirits. There are plenty of good DVD's & games to keep you entertained in the evenings, once the kiddies are tucked up in bed. The wi-fi was a blessing for contacting the outside world if you needed to - The mobile phone signal was zero (which we saw as a benefit!).
Top tip: Sat nav is almost essential for navigating to and from the cottage.

We had a wonderful time at Kingfisher Cottage. The property is really well placed for visiting local beaches and pretty Devon villages and towns and made a wonderful base to do just that. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and really well equipped. Just to mention a few things, the kitchen has everything you could need, the bedding is crisp and spotless and there is plenty of hot water! A must when you have a couple of families there together! If the weather isn't great the cottage is big enough to house everyone comfortable with board games, a big TV, DVDs etc etc.
