This was the last of 3 sites we stayed on during a little motorhome trip around Devon and Cornwall. On arrival we were quickly sorted and Gary took us to our pitch. I'd booked a superior pitch which is up on the top tier and this meant we hardly heard the traffic on the dual carriageway which runs in front of the site. As others have mentioned it's a very short slip road off the carriageway. I used to slow down when I saw the big sign advertising a garage with MOT's. A key card is required for entry and exit and a 10.00 refundable deposit is required. The toilet blocks are fantastic and there are also family bathrooms. It's nice to have a shower and toilet block where you don't have to push the tap to get 5 seconds of water. All the taps are regular taps. Showers nice and hot and good sized cubicles. Gary is a genuinely nice chap who works tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly and is great with the kids. My son (and myself) loved the farm walk and feeding the hens and guinea pigs and rabbits and lambs. We weren't around for the tractor rides. There are numerous play areas and a football field and good access to motorhome service points. We didn't try the food in the restraunt or attend Gary's evening entertainment so can't comment. We all really enjoyed our stay and can recommend it to anyone. There are statics on site as well as cottages for hire. One word of warning don't follow your sat nav and turn left out of the site, we did and it was a bit snug in our 25ft motorhome. Thanks to Gary and Colin and I'll sort you the bacon roll next time guys .

We had a great time here. Friendly, helpul staff. Spotless facilities (showers, washing up stations). Fantastic views of Dartmoor. Evening bar and restaurant to save me from cooking at night (in the dark!). Bar atmosphere and tables a little dated but very clean and the food was cooked to order and setved with a smile.

This review is for Parkers farm caravans and camping and NOT Parkers farm caravans and cottages. The latter is a seperate site a little further along the road and is owned by one of two brothers, all a little confusing.
Stayed at the later last year and was very happy. This year we stayed at the former,ie the first base along the road. Stayed in a static for the week with family. Shop on site, bar, small games room and restaurant which provides very good food. Entertainment for the kids along with some loosely based adult stuff, some in daytime,ie feed the animals which are dotted around the site and some entertaimnent in the evenings .Gary the entertainer works hard at his job. Caravan was not as good as last year, being a little tired but no real grumbles.

We stayed in our motorhome for 3 nights in August, as a good stopping point on our way down to cornwall.

The farm walk is the big highlight, which the kids absolutely loved. Collecting eggs, feeding lambs, then walking the lambs round to feed alpaca's, goats, pigs, cows was really lovely and Harry still talks about it months later.

Kids also loved the trampolines and play area's, which were really nicely kept.

We had tea in the restaurant which was very nice and reasonably priced.

Trago mills is nearby for rainy day, kids enjoyed the trawler boats and gokarts and mum enjoyed the shopping.

Overall a great campsite, if it had an indoor pool it would be 5 stars and I'm sure could make the cost back in a couple of seasons !
