What a lovely family orientated site. Designed for the young and old alike. Shower blocks were spotless even before the daily clean. On site facilities excellent. Club house excellent. The wibbly wobbly man was fab. Would give it 5+ stars

Have been going to this camp site years

Fancied a trip on some days off, but most of the camp sites I looked at were really expensive for one guy and a tent. Found this site online on the morning I left, called to confirm they had space and booked up straight away. Excellent price even before I had seen it. Very easy to find (just of A38). Friendly staff signed me in. Was only one other person camping in the decent sized field (most of the site is reserved for caravans). Very good facilities. Nearest village is about 5 mins drive and has a couple of pubs. Didn't try the restaurant as it was only open for the last 2 nights of my stay and I had found some pubs to try. Enjoyed a few ciders in the bar though. Only slightly annoying aspect (and reason for 4 stars) was the proximity to the A38 and the road noise at night. Not really loud enough to stop me sleeping but I'm a heavy sleeper so it could affect others.

Camped for four nights. Facilities are excellent and showers are spotless. Ate in the bar two of nights and food was very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is good, as central for most places. Hope I get to return. Nice find.

Spent a lovely week in one of their caravans, clean and comfortable. The site is ideally situated plenty to do around the area and the site is easy to find just off the A38. Had dinner at the club a couple of times, nice homely food with reasonable prices. Pigs, goats and plenty of animals to keep the children happy. Definitely would recommend this site and looking forward to our next visit.
