We were recommended this place if we wanted fish and chips in Brixham. We rang ahead and preordered haddock and cod. We arrived and the fish and chips were ready to take away. The staff were very friendly and informative- chips are made with fresh potatoes and fish coming fresh off the trawlers.
Back home the fish was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful.
A great find and will go back when in the area.

Thank Anne N

Hi, really glad you enjoyed the good. Our hake, plaice and rock all come from Brixham market. They are bought for us by Walker's and sons. Our cod and haddock are fast frozen at sea up among the icebergs! Thanks again, Mark and Sarah xx

Had haggis, chips, beautifully cooked as ever, early burns night for mrs and me,you know what, those of a certain age will probably remember the estate chippy,or council estate,as was, hard working folk, trying to climb the ladder, under Harold Wilson’s govt.,chippys served the community, from every corner in Torbay,Paignton, brixham, well,I have my memories,of a poke of chips in Cobleys..scribbles included,or scraps, wherever you were, and in Edinburgh ,Gorgie road,a fine chippy, now closed down..point is Dornans seems to be what I remember as a kid,not on the waterside, not with a unique view, not with napkins, just good honest fish and chips, and with a bonus of home made tartare sauce, conversation, and they will remember you..they don’t do wooden forks,or try to sell cheap sachets of dubious sauces,to my knowledge, again a bonus point, but I might work on the chippy sauce..what,vinegared down broon sauce..is that health and safety or weights and measures!!!but a n Edinburgh chippy staple!ps all haggis’s served are raised under strict welfare controls, monitored, and free range as far as I am aware, fully sustainable.
