Review of Quay 57

Quay 57
Ranked #33 of 117 Restaurants in Brixham
Price range: US$5 - US$17
Description: A licensed restaurant situated overlooking the inner harbour. We open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. We specialise in meat and pizzas. We serve well hung, perfectly cooked, succulent steaks. Our burgers are made from rump steak and stacked in a brioche bun. We hand make and stone bake fresh pizzas to taste. We make great fish cakes and cook scallops in a way you are unlikely to have tried and better than you have ever tasted. Couple great food, with great staff and a fabulous location and that is Quay 57!

At peak times, visitor favourites can lose out to volume and affordability over quality. Whoever steers the short menu and kitchen at Quay 57 loves food and likes people and it shows! Crab sandwiches were the epitome and the cream teas flawless and the scallops at the next table looked very good. I hope enough people make the effort to appreciate the difference and that this place can maintain their uncompromising offer

Omg you have to visit this place for afternoon tea! We stumbled across this to rest our feet and grab a drink
Well!! The scones were soft fluffy and warm the cream and jam we just to die for and I could feel the calories building but boy was it worth it!! If you in Brixham stop and grab and afternoon tea not expensive either!!
Enjoy!!

Visiting Brixham and wanted a crab lunch. Had the Brixham platter to share. Absolutely tasty and the mackerel pate was lovely.

Best thing was that we were allowed to bring our dog into the restaurant.

Only stopped for a cream tea, too be honest that wasn’t what I wanted but as a vegetarian not much in the way of choice on the menu. Goats cheeses salad (I’m not a fan of goats cheese), or pizza.

The scone was very nice, although the actual cup of tea was a disappointment. I would say not very good quality tea, even Yorkshire tea would have been better.

The server was very friendly and efficient. Nice decor, lovely breeze coming through with the door open overlooking the inner Harbour.

Good location opposite the Golden Hind. Nice small restaurant serving very good pizza at good prices. Friendly service. Clean toilets.
