Owner description: Small Group & Private Tours on the Island of Guernsey. Your local driver Andy is passionate about his Island Home, and he'd be delighted to show you around! You'll pass scenic Parish Churches, Monolithic Stones, Iconic Local Sights, The Guernsey Cow, Perfect Beaches and Quaint Beachside Kiosks (+ a whole lot more!). We aim to show you the REAL Guernsey, not just the places with the biggest car parks & advertising budgets. All tours are conducted from our Land Rover Defender, with a purpose built rear seating area we offer un-rivaled access around the whole island. Our small size ensures access through all of the picturesque country lanes and with a maximum group size of 10 you'll have plenty of opportunities for photographs!

My wife & I found out about this via a leaflet in the hotel. As a 3 hour tour was available the next afternoon we booked online.

What a great ambassador for Guernsey Andy was; great knowledge of the island's history and takes you down narrow lanes(and a field) that your regular bus will not, plus a refreshment stop serving Gauche cake.

Be warned that there is a degree of difficulty in getting in and out of the vehicle in the back 2 rows of seats; steps, and a helping hand will be provided.

Let a local show you his island. Andy Is personable, fun, and friendly. I so enjoyed his commentary and his rover took us where other vehicles could not go. You can walk from your cruise ship to where he picks you up.

Good day, 1 1/2 hour trip around the island, interesting and informative gives a good insight into the island in a very short time.
Two concerns :
1. Its a fair distance from where the ferry docks to the Albert dock where the land rover is waiting, takes about 20 minutes for able people to arrive, a map needs to be provided as there are no signposts pointing to where Albert dock is, asking directions from people - wastes time.

2. Take care to make sure you have enough time before you join the trip with the land rover as your ferry or cruise tendering might be late and if you miss the trip owing to this you will not be able to claim the money back.

We did a 1.5 hour private tour for my husband's birthday and it was a lot of fun. We did a tour of St. Peter's and stopped off at a beautiful spot overlooking Rocquaine/ L'Eree for a drink. My dad and uncle have lived in St Peters all their lives and even for them it was interesting and they saw things that they wouldn't normally see. We would love to do another tour in the future! Andy was a great guide and very relaxed.
