September 17-24th was our fourth stay at this hotel. As always we can't fault this place. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The rooms are always spotless and smell lovely. The owner and staff are super friendly as are the waiters/waitresses. We have booked again for next year before we left for home. Food is exceptional, always plenty of choice, even if you want something that's not shown on the menu they go out of their way to get it for you. I can't believe some of the snobbish comments left about this hotel, those type of people should get themselves down to the posh hotels and leave this down to earth hotel for those who appreciate it. This is the only hotel we will EVER stay in when we visit Jersey.

Stayed for 10 days in August. This was our first stay in this hotel, so many others in Jersey having closed down, hence the need to find somewhere "new" after staying on the Island for many years! The choices now left in the reasonably priced bracket are getting somewhat limited.
We were very pleased with our choice, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the rooms comfortable and clean. The food was very good.
We would book this hotel again without hesitation when staying in Jersey.

A holiday break which came up to our expectations, with noting earlier reviews on this hotel. Each and every member of staff in which we came in contact were so pleasant and helpful where necessary. All meals very good and varied daily if on full board.
A fairly steep, but pleasant stroll down to the seafront may be of a slight hindrance to some, but this is outweighed by an excellent, clean, friendly, regular bus service to St Helier and throughout the island. The pool at the hotel is very adequate for the few who use it! To ourselves, this was a splendid break.

Room Tip: Front, south facing. Air conditioning I am not sure about ?

Good location with views over St. Brelades from the south facing rooms. Adequate parking and very close to main bus route! We stayed for 14 nights and may well stay there again. Bedrooms and public rooms etc. kept very clean. Staff very helpful and caring. About 5 mins walk from the seafront at St. Brelades. Good food and good service. There is a good choice for the main course at dinner, a very good selection of sweets but a limited selection of starters. The decore in the dinning room is a little dated.
Nice terraced rear garden with a swimming pool, all well cared for. Wireless is limited and can only be recieved in the reception area, it is slow and liable to "drop out"
When they saw my wife struggle a bit with stairs we were asked if we needed a downstairs room showing real care for their guests.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side have the best views.

Just spent 5 nights at this hotel with my boyfriend and although there are good and bad points, we wouldn't return to this hotel.

Pros - lovely staff, lovely location 10 minute walk downhill to the most beautiful beach, with a few restaurants and gift shop with all the beachy bits you'll need. Lovely gardens on the seafront, spotlessly clean. 10 mins from the airport and with a bus stop at the top of the road, couldn't be better positioned. Very clean rooms, great sea view. Cheap bar prices. Nice gardens, well kept around the pool. Peaceful late afternoon. Waitrose 10 min walk away for supplies if you need bits and pieces.

Cons - awful pillows, so hard and uncomfortable. Food awful and ridiculously overpriced £15 per head for a 3 course meal (OJ counted as a starter!). Pop down to the sea front and get a 3 course meal at Pizza Express instead for £13! Seating in the restaurant is numbered and if you're in a couple you're put on a table with another couple so quite awkward if you want to chat to one another. Housekeeping started hoovering at 8.15 every morning, very loud, banging doors. Not everyone wants to get up early on holiday!! No air-con at all, very uncomfortable nights spent boiling in the room with no cool air. No fans supplied. No wifi, except on the sofa in Reception. Although, this is quite nice if you want to get the kids off their phones!

Overall, although only a 2 star hotel, it could definitely do with updating and revising the menu and prices, adding a fan and a mini fridge to the rooms, and new pillows!! We won't be back here unfortunately.
