“What a truly beautiful and serene place”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

It was a wonderful stay. The house was as advertised with stunning views and all modern facilities. It was homely and the host had provided facilities and toys for our 1 year old grandson which were much appreciated. Seven of us travelled and the house provided for us in comfort. The arrangements for keys collection and return were seamless and Joan was very helpful.

The only slight negatives were that the upstairs bedroom had a very low ceiling and no curtains. And areas of the house that were less used could have been a little cleaner.

Apart from these minor things the experience was wonderful, the location spectacular and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Thank you very much to Eamon and Joan. I would highly recommend Creevagh to anyone who wants some sustenance for the soul.

“Comfortable Atlantic views”

The house at Creevagh is a very comfortable spot, with plenty of room for a family of five and a very welcome collection of toys to keep the youngsters happy. With a great view east toward Sligo and Donegal, nearby Lacken and Ross strands make for fine walking and bathing (respectively) and are fine spots to visit along the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is very well appointed, spacious and a great spot to base yourself in this part of Mayo.

The house is situated in a lovely bucolic setting with captivating views. The interior is light and airy; even when the weather is grim and damp. The aroma of peat-burning stove enhances the sense of being remote and in a less travelled area of Ireland. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are firm and comfortable. The bathrooms are pristine. The house has been meticulously renovated.
