Just went to the restaurant there. The service was first class but about a half hour me and my daughter (both ate the stew) have being throwing up. I am too sick to drive back home to Dublin so I had to book another couple nights as I feel this will take a few days to leave me. Lovely place to visit but I just can't recommend what I ate. The staff are so nice. It is a shame. Me and my family will not be back there for the food. Sorry for the review.

Excellent location, very affordable and good value for money. Good breakfast in the morning and a well serviced bar and restaurant. Could do with some freshening up but maybe that’s part of the appeal

The are not many places ro eat at the Glendalough site, so we stopped at Casey's Bar in the hotel. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. Restaurant was a little old fashioned but food - we had fish and chips and Irish stew were both good

Glendalough is an amazing place to visit. Our hotel offered us a nice room with a big bathroom and a bath tub. We enjoyed our dinner and could even play billard and piano downstairs. During the day we liked going for a walk around glendalough lake and the stunning scenery. All in all, lovely short trip.

It’s one of the first things you see on the way into Glendalough and after the drive we opted for lunch a soup and sand which on a cold day was very welcome - after the 4km walk we returned for a cuppa and a cake.
