Just returned from Avoca where we spent two nights at this delightful property. What can I say about Rockfield Guesthouse that can do it justice? It's just perfection. Edna our hostess made us so welcome and was very helpful with advice on great places to visit and to eat. Her house is warm and inviting and Immaculately clean. Breakfast was fresh and lovingly prepared to order by Edna with each guests needs and requirements met and nothing was too much trouble for this delightful lady who is just the perfect hostess. We arrived back each evening to home baked cakes awaiting us in our room along with tea or coffee as we wished.
We will definitely return to beautiful Avoca to further explore the wonderful countryside and beaches. What a great area and what a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Edna!
We will be back!

My cousin Rosemary, my husband and I, have really enjoyed 4 nights in Rockfield Guesthouse. We are regular guests in this lovely comfortable bright home. Edna is a warm and friendly host who cannot do enough to help you enjoy your stay. The Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and bright and the beds very comfortable. There is a large Guest Lounge with lovely comfy Sofa's to relax in. The Guesthouse is only minutes away from Avoca and close to main roads for exploring beautiful Co. Wicklow. Rockfield is in a great location overlooking the mountains and countryside, and feels so relaxing. Edna's breakfasts are delicious and when you arrive back from your busy day there is always a beautiful slice of homemade cake waiting for you in your room! Wonderful warm friendly place to stay!

We had the pleasure of staying here last weekend. What a beautiful place, nestled into the hillside with fantastic views. Edna made us so welcome after our long journey and really couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with lots of little added extras like the home made bread and cake in the evenings. I would thoroughly recommend this guesthouse and look forward to staying again the next time we are in the area.

The Rockfield Guesthouse B&B was an absolute delight in Avoca, County Wicklow, Ireland. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights, and everything about our experience exceeded our expectations.

GPS easily found the location, and the driving route was easy to navigate. Upon arrival, the host, Edna, greeted my wife and I by name before fixing us a fresh pot of tea and offering us homemade sweets. Those sweets were a staple of the trip--she had them ready in our room every night.

Edna's homemade breakfasts every morning were truly delightful--fresh ingredients, and homemade to perfection. Meals were taken by a bay window overlooking a picturesque landscape of rolling hills covered in patchwork Irish fields. The view was truly breathtaking.

The room was well appointed, with a fresh and clean feel. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had endless hot water.

Edna was filled with advice on excellent local restaurants and sights to see. Everywhere she recommended, we went to--and we were never disappointed.

Our short, 3-night stay was gone far too quickly. We plan to return to Ireland as soon as we can--and we will definitely be returning to the Rockfield Guesthouse in Avoca.
