My wife and I had the pleasure to stay here over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful place. Its location is perfect as you are within an hours drive of seaside resorts like Youghal Co Cork ,Dungarvan and Tramore Co Waterford. The same applies if you wish to visit the cities of Waterford and Cork.
Well worth a visit staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is top class.

We had a ribeye and scallops for mains, and a couple of nice deserts. Tasty food, beautifully prepared and well served by Betty and Claire. Coffee was also excellent. The venue is comfortable and the welcome warm. Best in the area by a distance in my view and we'll worth a visit for an occasion.

Old world place - lovely shower and a great night's sleep. The food was nice. Dinner: full bar licence, excellent tomato bread, excellent brown bread, honey-glazed carrot and parsnip was delicious as were the very tasty French beans, lovely flour-y potatoes. The cooked breakfast was good.

This was my second time staying at Richmond House. I really like the older style of architecture of these kind of buildings (the house was built in 1704), and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the Cappaquin area again.

We really felt looked after by all the staff at Richmond House. We stayed with our 5-year-old daughter and they could not have been more accommodating. Kids, menu was home cooked and delicious, our meals, room and occasional home baked scones and fresh coffee in front of the open fire was such a treat. It was only one night but we all agreed it felt like we were away for a week it was so relaxing.

Room tip: No lift so request lower floors if not willing to climb a few flights of stairs.
