“Graiguenamanagh Book Fair”

The Duiske Inn Bar & Restaurant
Restaurant details

We travelled here ,as we do every year , for the annual book fair. Its a top class event and well organised. We look forward to our Sunday Lunch in the Duiske Inn. As Sunday lunchs go, this is top class with a very good menu. We come here for the bacon and cabbage which is superb. Very few places serve bacon any longer which is a pity.
Would recommend this pud to anyone !

The food was great here - sandwiches served with chips and salad - and the portions were huge for the money. Service was perfect.

We choose the bar menu, reasonably priced nice food..in fact my friend thought the chicken Caesar salad was one of the nicest she had tasted. Friendly and efficient staff.

We stopped for food on a trip down the river , menu was appealing and the place looked packed and clean ! Good food , great service , we got roast beef and fish and chips and all great . Lovely location , too bad Graiguenamanagh isn’t as busy as it used to be !

We picked this because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. There was a long queue for Sunday lunch, which shows its popularity. I wondered why some people carried plates; when they left with foil over the food I realised they were people in boats or caravans getting their takeaway lunch. We had a substantial serving of roast beef, and chicken; with nicely cooked vegetables. With two glasses of wine, a shared dessert, and tea, it all came to 30 euro for two.

(My photo is not of the Duiske Inn but of the Graig Garden opposite. Only because with all those flowers it's an unmissable landmark)
