The decor in the room I had was dated but functional although the towels could do with being refreshed. The location is ideal for Punchestown and not too far from Naas town although it's not walkable. There is free wifi available, but coverage isn't great, maybe due to the countryside location. The breakfast was adequate, but fell short of being the 'full Irish'. Oddly, when asking for an iron, was told that I had to use it in a public area/ the hallway of the house and couldn't use it in my room. I hope that a new iron has been purchased as there was plastic or something similar burnt on when I used it rendering it merely decorative.
Overall, was disappointed as the infamous Irish hospitality was not quite there, and the place felt like it needed a bit of refreshment.More
