We booked to stay in the 2 bedroom cottage on the farm. I went with my boyfriend and his Nan and grandad as they wanted to go and see family, old friends and go back to where they originally come from/grew up. We arrived early and didn’t expect to be able to check in since check in was at 3. We only drove there to see where it was that we were staying but we were greeted straight away and made to feel extremely welcome from start to finish. Mary came to welcome us with freshly baked scones. She showed us round the cottage and explained everything to us, also answering any questions we had and seemed genuinely interested in the reasons for our visit. The cottage itself was lovely and felt like a home away from homes. We felt very safe during our stay. The views were amazing, the best being the cows walking the field on the Saturday morning. You can literally see/hear them from the cottage and it added to the experience. None of us wanted to leave to come home. Would highly recommend staying either in the cottage or even the b & b itself (as I can well imagine it to be just as brilliant of an experience as the cottage).
