The pints were amazing and the food was every bit as good. Our server (Rob) was so friendly and was very attentive with our order and was always checking on us for drinks. Grace the owner was going around chatting to everyone too. We both had the steak with onion rings. Pepper sauce and garlic butter were on point! Raging there was no lobster on the menu. Desserts were great too.
There are only two places on the island for dinner so GET THERE EARLY to avoid the Q. Kitchen opened at 6. We queued from 5.15 (we were 1st) and they sat us at 5.40pm. When we left after the 1hr 45 mins there was a good queue outside waiting on a table. WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

Went as a group of friends and two children on our second evening to be told to wait an hour and not guaranteed to get a table, doesn’t take bookings but had 2/3 groups returning for a table. Thank god the lady in the spar shop let us in to get food as we had no where to go for dinner, we felt it was the children to be honest that she didn’t want in there. Save yourself the trip and go to the hotel for fabulous food and very nice staff.

Gill A Chara.
If you were told you would have to wait an hour it was only because we were full and we were being honest with you, people who get seated get 1 hour and 45 minutes for Food / Drinks that is what the law states and what we apply at these strange times
Being full is something we don's feel sorry about, feels good actually.
I sense by your review that queuing did not suit you and to say that we are Not Child Friendly is way out of line, with no basis in fact.
Le meas.
Joe Watty's.

We ate here on 2 occasions. For dinner one evening, we had the lobster and fish of the day (hake). Both were exceptional dishes! Very well cooked with great service.
We had lunch another day- seafood chowder. It was nice but a little watery and not much fish in it. Nonetheless, it’s a lovely pub, great service, very friendly staff.
