Three of Skerries main highlights are small: Storm in a Teacup, Joe May's and The Skerries Bookshop! I'm not sure how Paddy does it but there are always interesting books on his shelves not to mention a friendly chat with the man himself. Oh, and if you want a local author to dedicate a book for you, that can be arranged.

Paddy's bookshop is part of the magic of Skerries. At the back of the shop there's a whole room full of books for kids. Up front there are shelves to browse and find treasures you didn't know existed. Great place!

Quaint little bookshop run by the friendly Paddy. Ok it isn't Amazon but you didn't expect that. You will get the popular books of the moment there plus there is a second hand area.

An old fashioned small bookshop that nonetheless selects it's stock well. They seem to make their living from school books, but have a great selection of fiction that includes best sellers and we'll selected good reads. The owner is most helpful and will order in anything you need, and text you when it arrives.
A place worth supporting.
