Just returned from my annual trip with friends staying at the White Cottages, Skerries. This is our 5th visit to the White Cottages and we have no wish to stay anywhere else, Jackie and Joe make everyone so welcome. It is very comfortable, clean and relaxed and the views across the bay are amazing with incredible sunrises and sunsets. Some excellent pubs/restaurants in walking distance. Situated just north of Dublin, easy access to visit to Dublin and plenty else to do in the area, castles etc.. we’ve booked for next year. Thoroughly recommend the White Cottages.

I have just returned from Skerries on the coast north of Dublin. The White Cottages B&B is run by Jackie and Joe who, for the past 5 years, have made our stay very comfortable. Myself and my friends enjoy a few days there every year and have no intention of changing our destination. The rooms are very clean, bright and comfortable and the views across the bay resemble a picture postcard. Sunrise and sunset can be spectacular and wildlife-watching is fun. Breakfast is well worth jumping out of bed for and afternoon tea at the weekend, better than the Ritz. Bookings are required for tea which is, of course, an additional cost. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area; castles etc to visit. Joe is very good with his recommendations. This time we drove to Belfast for the Titanic Experience. Well worth the trip and the Irish roads make driving easy - light traffic and polite drivers. On the other side of the bay by the harbour (about a 15 minute walk) there are several restaurants from which to choose. The Brick House is our favourite. Lunch at the Skerries Mills is not to be missed. The Irish people are lovely. If only everyone were this friendly, the world would be a far better place.

We were lucky enough to stay at the White Cottages in Skerries, Ireland. Close to the Dublin airport. Divine location right on the Irish Sea. Our room, the Eagles Nest was upstairs and had wonderful views of the sea, and town. Can't rave enough about this terrific B&B. Perfect location, too!

We recently travelled to Ireland for a family vacation. The owners Joe & Jackie were gracious hosts. The place was beautiful, clean, and food was great. Best white pudding in Ireland! Try the chowder and fish and chips at Stoop your Head restaurant in town. Recommend taking the train into Dublin for day trips to avoid parking and traffic. Very easy to use and affordable.

Our hosts gave us some great planning tips on what to see and do during our tour of Ireland.

Will definitely stay again.

We loved this B&B, one of the best ever. The room was a bit small but that's it! The owner are very friendly and helpful, the breaktfast ist delicious but the best is the location. Right on the beach! We wanted to escape Dublin for a couple o days and found the right place!
