“Wonderful peaceful tranquil Scenic Peace of Ireland - a Little Jewel.”

High quality accommodation, spotless, warm and hospitably second to none. The accommodation is one of the oldest buildings in the area which has been refurbished to a very high standard and maintained with cleanliness a top priority. Location is centrally to all scenic walks which are well sign posted and breath taking. Local shops and restaurants extremely friendly , helpful and good quality food. The entire area is full of heritage and rich culture, a must for exploring the history of Ireland, i.e. Famine grave yard, Isaac Butt etc.
The location is great for access to coastal section and is a photographers paradise ,ie Cascading mountain fronts , unspoilt beaches and landscapes, with good healthy fresh air in abundance. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful area and enjoy the company of fantastic heart warming people.

“Fantastic second stay”

We have just returned from our second stay at bridge house and again we had a wonderful stay. The house is really clean and tidy with everything we could possibly need. Milk, bread, butter and biscuits were left for us as well as a plentiful amount of turf. The surrounding area is stunning, the town of glenties is only a few minutes drive and has a good range of shops and take aways. Again I would highly recommend a stay at bridge house, we will be back.

Many many thanks for giving us another 5 star, it is greatly appreciated. We take pride in out standards that we offer and we think that the "secret den" you found was left by the children from the previous guest, so thanks for spotting that and we will add that to check when we clean. Sorry we did not meet as I was indisposed, but you did meet my mother and the people who look after Bridge House for us. Hopefully you can visit us again, so I will look forward to meeting you.

“Excellent house”

I would highly recommend a stay in bridge house. The house itself was spotless and so spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. They even left us milk, butter, bread and biscuits, so welcoming. The garden was a great size and had plenty of room for our dog to run around. It was so pretty that the river ran right past the house. Glenties was only a few minutes drive away and had shops and take aways etc. We took a drive to portnoo beach, which only a 15 minute drive. When we stayed it was snowing which was so pretty but be advised that the road to the house coming from ballybofey is treacherous and we nearly got stranded in the snow. Overall i would highly recommend a stay at bridge house, we will be back.
