We very much enjoyed out stay at River Finn Cottage over New Year’s, which truly is a home from home. The accommodation is equipped with everything one needs and more. It is very tidy, nicely furnished and it was certainly big enough for the two of us and our large dog who also enjoyed the garden with its forest-like part. The smart tv and broadband works well so that we could enjoy the likes of Netflix at night, after our day trips to Donegal, Tyrone and Derry. The highlights of our 1-week stay were Glenveagh National Park with its castle and lake, the climb up to the peak of Mount Errigal and exploring Derry city as well Enniskillen, all of which is only 30 – 60 min from the house. Killygordon and the neigbouring village have 3 pubs within walking distance and Ballybofey with a great selection of shops is only a 7 min drive away. Marion was a great host and was there to help and give advice at any time. We’ll certainly go back soon!

We stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time, the owner made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The house was amazing it was so clean and had everything we needed. It was so close to the main town and we would definitely return.
