Stopped off here on a drizzly Thursday evening for a bite of lunch. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by two very friendly ladies. We ordered a pot of Tea which I have to say was one of the best cups of tea I have had in a cafe/restaurant. We ordered the Ham & Cheese Quesadillas & the Tarragon Chicken on Brown Bread both were equally delicious and fresh. We were later informed by Margie & Geraldine that all the desserts & breads were freshly baked on the premises (we sampled the coffee cake) They also offer Vegan options & do afternoon tea which we were told should be booked in advance. I would highly recommend this cozy and comfortable tea rooms and we will definitely be back !! ☆☆☆☆☆

The cakes etc. are really home-made and delicious. However, the cappuccino is a black coffee with frothed milk on top.
According to Google: A cappuccino (/ˌkæpʊˈtʃiːnoʊ/ (About this sound listen); Italian pronunciation: [kapputˈtʃiːno] Italian plural cappuccini) is an espresso-based coffee drink that originated in Italy, and is traditionally prepared with double espresso, and steamed milk foam.

I did mention my disappointment and was told that a cappuccino is a black coffee with frothed milk. Having lived ten years in Italy... I finally asked for an espresso and it was good. Also good: they did not charge me for the "non-cappuccino".

We visited Quinn's Tea Rooms after a visit to Quin Abbey. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the soup of the day (creamy tomato) with fresh bread, quiche, scones, chocolate cake and tea. The food melted in our mouth! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this delightful little gem.
