This is a little hole-in-the-wall, and everything you'd expect from such a place. It smells like a diner, the staff often mix up your order, and the menu is limited. But if you get to know the place, it grows on you. The locals who frequent the Kountry Kitchen go there almost every day. You're likely to see the very same folks every time you go. That's because it is familiar, because the folks who work there get to know you and take care of you. It is more like going to grandma's kitchen than a restaurant.

If you want a local experience, try it. But go in with your expectations set fairly low.

Best home cooked style breakfast you can find anywhere. Well worth the visit. Also have home cooked lunch specials.

This is a small locals restaurant. Not fancy, food was O.K. We had lunch but I would say breakfast here would be good. I had meatloaf dinner with sweet potatoes and green beans. Beans tasted like from a can. Coffee was horrible; must have been the bottom of the pot and had been sitting for hours...not fresh. Service is friendly; they will try to accommodate whatever you want that isn't on the menu.

I keep loooking for the Mom & Pop types of restaurants. This one is so much like the kind we ate at when I was a child. They have a wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly. The food was great. The price was a little below average. They fix breakfast all day. I liked the food, because they cooked it right then. This is a real good place to get that good old fashion food, at a real good price.
