Where do I start, first visit 2 years ago, water from toilet leak went everywhere and we were given towels to put around it instead of switching rooms. This visit, the radio wouldn't work, smoke detector was gone, only wires, short in light above jacuzzi and in bathroom, moldy coffee packet left from last room visitors, a/c made such a loud noise on last day we couldn't sleep with it on and humidity was awful. Pool access door would not allow key to let you in except for last day if finally worked but too late since we were leaving to swim, and the BEST was our room was never cleaned in 5 DAYS!!! Towels were placed and waste baskets removed, but a large pizza box filled with plates, crust etc. set on the microwave for 2 days. We left the card on our pillow as instructed and even placed tissues under the sheet and pillow case, toothpaste in sink and tub and a few pennies on the floor, and guess what THEY WERE STILL THERE. Notified front desk and woman was so rude, she said "not by job" asked for corp phone or email and she was clueless. Upon checkout we received a refund for 1/2 our stay, better than nothing. What a shame Red Roof, awesome location, but poor cleaning crew and hotel needs updated.

Room tip: Stay at another Red Roof location

Stayed here one night on our way across the country. Pleasantly surprised at the value. Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, nice indoor pool, and good price. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a room in Knoxville.

Miserable counter clerk, refused to honor either senior discount or the corporate advertised 15% for the whole month of September. The reason? There's a football game.Football means nothing when you are trying to avoid a hurricane. What i care about is people who dont falsify advertising and honor their claims.the room was NOT worth what we paid.

This Red Roof advertises that they focus on the meaningful so it is a no frill place to stay. Located off of I 40, be sure to focus on your navigation because you might miss the turn to get to the hotel driveway. About the best thing about the room was a comfortable king bed, which was an upgrade that I took. They also said that a larger flat screen tv was part of the upgrade but if that was an upgrade, the other rooms must of had postage stamp size tv's. The bathroom really demanded a remodel. Both faucet handles, for the shower and the regular sink, looked and felt like one wrong turn and it's broke. The linens were small and rough texture while the fluorescent light didn't even have a cover. The indoor pool area had the old whirlpool cemented over and the water temperature was quite chilly. The usual breakfast offerings in the morning were ok but this was the first place I can remember that did not serve orange juice for breakfast. Not really going back here unless it is the last resort.
