We went to Lionas to check out the village and found Vasso waving at us when we parked. As we had just had lunch, we decided to spend some time on the beach first - and all this time Vasso did not let us out of sight! When we eventually walked up to Delfinaki, we stayed for some hours, ordering the minimum (you know, proper Greek food on holidays has this effect of wanting to own more than one stomach) - and all we tasted was excellent. The best, of course, was Vasso's and Manolis' and their son's company. A very pleasant afternoon.
ND - wine was quite strong though - not sure if driving in those tiny serpantinous roads would be an option!

Vey nice atmosphere and friendly service. The trip to get there is a bit long but it is absolutely worth it. If you like octopus this is the best I have ever had in Greece, it is amazingly tender and tasty. Go there, you will not regret it!

This little family taverna is simple but with great ambience, run by real and very friendly people and the food is extremely well cooked, tasty and inexpensive. Stewed octopus in tomato and wine sauce, Greek salad, aubergine and potato casserole and fresh Naxos potato chips with a large carafe of local wine, all these for 35 euro between four people!

Very friendly family-run taverna, rightly proud of their homegrown and home cooked dishes! Very tasty, great wine! You can also buy homemade jams and all kinds of things. Beautiful beach to look at while dining! Will come back!
