a very nice aquarium that spotlights the local Tennessee River and lakes and the animals, fish, and insects that live there plus an ocean aquarium. a nice gift shop is located in the two aquariums(river-ocean.) the only bad thing I can say about this location is the parking sucks. expensive and lack of parking space. if you go during the week this problem isn't so bad but on weekends and holidays when the locals are off, go someplace else.

The outdoor curb appeal was interesting with the unique bridge and "busted" concrete. If it would have been warmer kids would have enjoyed splashing in the water. We also loved the butterfly room and the touch pool...that was actually our favorite. The ocean journey was more interesting than the river journey. The river journey did have it's interesting parts of watching the rays get fed and it's unique way of winding through the building.

Well worth the price of admission. Unique multilayer exhibits, friendly employees. We spent about 6 hours exploring.

Absolutely worth the price of admission. Beautiful facility. Found the cards by the fish tanks that shared how that particular fish was prepared and eaten to be rather disturbing.

If going to Ruby Falls/ Rock City/ Lookout Mountain, go there for tickets first— they combine the admission rates more cheaply than buying at the aquarium. And do at least one imax. They’re great.

We went last week with our two daughters 13 and 10. We loved the ocean part but the river part got old! The girls enjoyed the dive show at the ocean side.
