We had heard about this restaurant the last time we visited Arillas but never made it .
So this year we were determined to go. So off we set from Arillas. It was all up hill and even though it was 7 in the evening it was still hot. The bonus was the views back across Arillas and the sea . Absolutely breathtaking .
On arrival the lady who runs it got us some water to help us cool off as we checked out the menu.
We had the meze which was mushrooms ham & cheese cooked in the oven . I then had Briami (veg in a tomato sauce & feta ) my hubby had lamb chops. The food was mouthwatering . So fresh and tasty . The Night Owl is also famous for its homemade deserts . So it would have been rude not to have one !! My hubby is a real chocolate lover so had the double chocolate brownie and I had the Apple & walnut cake . Needless to say we now know why they are famous for their deserts . We also bought a bottle of homemade chilli & chocolate sauce.
As we got up to leave Linda who owns the Night Owl asked how we were getting back . We said we were going to walk ." Oh no " she said "my son will take you " and bless him he did . Now that is service and appreciation of your customers . Next time we go to Arillas we will make the trek again. It is so worth it .
