This hotel was very convenient to get to from I90. The rooms were clean and and bed was comfortable. The linens were a little tired and you could hear a lot of noise in the hall and in the adjoining room. It was fine for a quick night on the road.

The motel is easy to find near the I-90 exit. There are restaurants near by and a Walmart on the south side of the freeway. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a short drive to the old part of town which is great for walking and sightseeing. There area was under construction but it was still fairly easy to get around. There is a museum and college campus that is great for walking and sight seeing as well that is near by.

Room Tip: Middle of the motel is quiet

The hotel was easy to find, easy access off of the interstate. The room was a nice size, easily accommodating the pack and play. The bed was comfy. Looked like a nice breakfast, but we didn't allow ourselves much time for it. The kids loved the pool area (we did too once we acclimated to the temperature of the water). We did notice a musty smell in our room as we came into the room.

Bed was very comfortable, and price was right. But the energy efficient a/c made sleeping miserable because the pre-set 70 deg temp was too warm and we couldn't adjust. At 3:00 a.m. I called the front desk and they said to push the re-set button on the plug at the wall, but that didn't do anything. So the a/c fan kept going on and off all night, which means it kept getting warmer and would turn on when it went above 70, an even more uncomfortable temp. We sleep in 64 at home with windows open, so a 70 degree temp was awful. This is the first time we were not able to override a pre-set temp in a hotel room. Lesson learned. ASK about it before settling in for the night.

Room Tip: Ask about their energy efficient a/c before settling in for the night. Be sure you can adjust

Very friendly workers and overall very satisfied. The location was perfect for the business in which we had traveled to Mitchell for! If I ever have to return to Mitchell in the future I’m definitely going to stay at this days inn again!!
