Went to this popular restaurant which is very popular with locals. Good sized portions for breakfast and home style cooking, at very reasonable prices which has been serving patrons for several decades. Very friendly waitress know knows the regulars.

It is that great corner cafe food that you grew up on. Daily special always changing and always good. That's not even getting into the best breakfast around.

The wait can sometimes be long so prepare for it

If you are hungry and want somewhat quick service, don't go here. The food was average, nothing amazing. Bacon was probably the best out of what we ordered. Rating of poor is due to the extremely slow service.

We enjoy this restaurant for it's reliable, home-cooked, small town service but the last time we ate there it was awful. Four of us ordered breakfast and the service was horrible. I had to ask the waitress 3x for coffee refills and I even walked back to the kitchen to ask for a refill on pop. Our food came 90 MINUTES after we ordered, while others around us got theirs. The 2 waitresses spent much of their time leaning against the door to the kitchen talking to the cook. Other families faced the same situation. We asked 3 times if our food was close to being done and were told it would come out soon.
We won't go back for a long time.

This downtown staple is a must. The diner atmosphere and community tables only add to the experience. The meals are hearty and reasonably priced.

A great family location or just a place to get away with friends.
