Old hotel, remodeled pretty well, laminate floors, takes pets, and most importantly doesn't smell like smoke or chemicals. It is loud, has thin walls, but that is a small price to pay for an $80 night breaking up drive to the beach.

We have stayed here every time we’ve visited Spartanburg in the last few years and it’s been good. Pretty cost efficient, allows pets, and is pretty close to several locations we normally hit up. Plus it’s near a gas station and a few restaurants.

You get what you paid for. Linoleum floors. Small room. Just the basics. Clientele not the greatest. They also called at about 10pm wondering whether I was coming. Gives the impression that they had a deadline for when you could check in. If that's the case then they should tell you that when you book.

I always stay here on my way back and forth from Florida.
It's pet friendly, and has a reasonably good area on the backside to walk your dog.

Room wasn't ready on time (5PM),but eventually was, and it was clean without any odors,or issues.

If you travel with your pet, you'll want the backside, which is quieter, and has close access to the dog walking area.

I might suggest that some maintenance people clean up the dog walking area, because there was some broken glass near a pole, on the south side of the building, and there were some empty bottles and litter in the area just beyond the grassy area,in the weeds.

Other than that, Tina and the gals do a great job running this place, and I'll be back next fall.

Room tip: Stay on the backside if you have a pet.

For the price, this hotel was what my husband and I needed after driving through 7 states. It's located right off I-26, proximal to eateries, and the staff all seemed friendly. The king bed was very comfy; the shower was awesome & had plenty of hot water. On the flip side - the bath mat for the floor was dirty. The fridge was dirty. Breakfast in the morning (which we missed, since it ended at 9) seemed a meager sampling in a small seating area. The walls were pretty thin also...but we were exhausted, so it didn't bother us too much. All in all, it was decent, but we probably won't stay here again.

Thank you for the review.I hope you will give us an opportunity to serve you better. We have thought of not serving breakfast due to limited space but we want to see our guest off with a little bite of something to eat.We are still doing upgrades so that space may be considered for a redo.
