A great stop on a rainy day when near lake keowee. Spend an hour looking a how the power station works and the history of the duke energy power plant. Helped the kids and myself understand how the plant functions.

Very quiet walk through the museum. Very informative interactive displays. Nice view of the power plant. Saw a chipmunk in the butterfly garden. Nice to tour. No fee required. Young children would really enjoy it.

I have been coming here since I was a young kid and love it. I always bring my son here when we are visiting the area. It's always very informative and just a fun place to come at any age. Not to mention there is a beautiful picnic area right on Lake Keowee with gorgeous views of the lake.

It's almost fifty years old but it is still an interesting place to visit. The exhibits may be dated but they are still educational. Great view of one of the few, if any, three unit nuclear plants in the world. If you are visiting the area and headed to the lakes or mountains, the large (20 ft. X 40 ft. ?) is a must see. It gives you an excellent perspective of where you are heading and the roads to get there.

When we went it was a little run down but still very enjoyable for younger kids (under 12). The little tour was educational and the kids took lots of pictures and enjoyed the interactive exhibits.
