Great value, good breakfast, and a decent hotel room. For an older hotel, they have done a good job at renovations. We came for a graduation, and reserved 2 rooms. Everything went perfectly and was even given a handicapped accessible room upon request for my handicapped mother-in-law. You cannot ask for much better for an overnight trip.

Staff was nice, alright breakfast. The rooms were clean but they stunk like perfume, I guess they need an air freshener to cover up cigarette smoke?
Old blankets with cigarette burns, old decor, needs freshening up! Got the job done though.. needed a room for 2 nights to see my nephew graduate from Clemson. Go Tigers!

I have stayed at this motel on previous visits. It was just as satisfactory this time. The location is near to areas I was surveying for business. My wife and I have a small (10 lb) dog and we would love to stay here if we have to evacuate again for a hurricane.

Started off pretty much as expected. Easy check in, room ready, older place but for the price location, condition and cleanliness was pretty much what you would expect- again for the price. Just don't count on a quiet night. The place is built like an echo chamber with six room sides of solid materials and little to absorb the sound including the synthetic wood floors. You hear everything from all sides. The person next to us left his loud tv on until 5:00am and then the folks above us and early risers started moving around. We all got very little sleep. So if you can block out noise or bring earplugs or want to bet everything will be silent you might get lucky but otherwise don't count on a good nights sleep. Not sure if all budget hotels may be the same like this but I'll go back to the next tier up price wise which we usually find fine. Ironically we figured it would be fine to go cheap as all we needed was one night to get a good nights sleep.

Perfume smell in the room > I think it was to cover up the cigarette smell. Cigarette burn holes on the bed covers. The room was old and dark > needs to be renovated badly. The price of the room was for a 3-4 star hotel but it was really only a 2 star hotel. They need to lower the rates or raise their standards
