I recently spent a few days at the Beach Cove Resort with friend. We wanted to be close to shopping and to the shows. We got a great deal on our room. The accomodations are very nice and offer so much. They have several pools, lazy river and hot tubs. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Thank you for taking a moment out to share your review! We are happy to hear that you’ve found Beach Cove to be such a nice place to relax. We have been working hard with our owners and an outside interior design company to upgrade our rooms here at the resort and we are glad to see that our guests are taking notice! Thank you again and we hope that you will return soon!

It was a spur-of-the-moment idea and after reading the reviews on Beach Cove, I booked on line. Drove down on Sunday morning and arrived before check-in time by about 3 hours. Desk clerk pleasantly checked on my room and it was ready so I checked in early, which gave me lots of time to change clothes, walk the beach, and have a light supper. Desk clerk had good recommendations re restaurants in the vicinity, which I tried and liked. Suite was lovely, luxurious, with balcony overlooking the ocean, and I went to sleep to the sound of the ocean, and awoke to it. Very clean and fastidious unit, large, and very quiet. Delicious breakfast served downstairs, and after eating, I walked the beach. Loved the close proximity of the parking garage. I arrived home feeling relaxed and rested, and started making plans to return.

There is nothing nicer than being greeted so warmly at a resort. Its sets the tone for your vacation! I’m glad that we were able to accommodate you in a room prior to check in time. It sounds like you had a great time enjoying the beautiful part of the beach that our resort sits on. Let us know if we can help you with those upcoming reservations! See you soon!

If you are considering this resort for your next family vacation, please do not! In a word, Bed Bugs. My family has been going to Beach Cove for the last 15 years for our summer vacation. Last year, however was disastrous. The second day of our vacation the housekeeping service discovered bed bugs in our three bedroom unit. They moved us to another hotel which was not on the beach and we stayed there until another unit became vacant at Beach Cove. We returned and stayed in a two bedroom unit and guess what...yes we continued to be bitten by bed bugs. To make a very long and frustrating story short, despite our best efforts, we brought the bed bugs home with us and spent countless hours and thousands of dollars to eradicate the horrible infestation. Beach Cove has refused to reimburse us for the cost of extermination of bed bugs from our home and to add insult to injury; they still charged us to stay at Beach Cove! The staff at Beach Cove was very unprofessional in managing the situation. What was very disturbing to me was the speed at which they moved another family into that bug ridden 3 bedroom condo after we were moved out. I felt sorry for that family.

We are truly sorry for the incident that occurred at our resort. In my 18 years as General Manager for Beach Cove we have only had a few cases of bed bugs. In the Hotel business it is not a question if you will ever have a case bed bugs, but when. At the resort our housekeeping staff has been professionally trained to detect the presence of bed bugs. We also have standard protocol that we follow in order to protect the public and the resort. After my housekeeping staff detected the presence of bed bugs we followed our protocol to the last detail. It is always in our best interest to provide exceptional guest service and in our opinion we thought we exceeded your expectations. If you will recall during your vacation most of your accomodations were refunded. Due to the amount of the additional expenses and damages you have claimed, it is our policy to forward the claim to the unit owner for settlement. My office has not been informed of the details of the claim, but hopefully the attorneys involved in the case worked out settlement that will satisfy all parties involved.
Sincerely,

Very nice place to stay. Easy access and parking. Rooms very nice and large. Well layed out. Very nice view of the Ocean and Grounds.
Well stocked rooms and everything worked as it should. Flat scren TV's in Den and Bed room with VCR/DVD combo in Den. Nice clean wide bacony with chars and tables.
Beds were confortable and the sheets fit the bed.
Did not use room service but was available. Pool and Hot tubs were well maintained. Easy access to the Ocean and Snack shop close to Pool and Ocean.

The only bad thing I could find to say was that the water pressure was not as much as I would have liked for my shower.

Room Tip: I had a single it had a seperate sleeping area with two Queen beds, the Den was down two steps on a different level but only two steps. The den led to the Bacony. the den had a Couch that convered to a bed. a table and two chairs. both rooms had a flat TV and the Bed room had a large open window to the den area that you could close off wht two folding blinds. The bath was large and had two sinks with easy access

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay here at Beach Cove Resort. Our staff works year round to make sure that our grounds and units are well taken care of. We always appreciate when our guests take notice of their hard work. I’m sorry to hear about the issue that you had with the water pressure in your unit. With a resort of our size, sometimes it can prove to be an unavoidable occurrence; however, it is one that can be addressed while you are here. I hope that our maintenance staff was able to take care of that for you! Again, thank you for your review and we hope to see you as our guest in the near future!

We stayed at the Beach Cove from October 24th through the 28th. It was for business. We had a two bedroom condo and it was beautiful! We refused maid service and just called down for towels when we needed them. The view from the balcony was just to die for! Everything worked great, there was plenty of room, and the location was great! Walmart was just down the road to the left and BiLo was just down the road to the right. We saw dolphins from the balcony. The beds were comfy, tvs in every room, convenient kitchen.... I want to go back!

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room above the third floor. Park car on the third floor and take elevator there so you can by-pass Lobby every time you leave.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We’ll be happy to have you back anytime! We do have a great location in North Myrtle Beach, close to shopping, dining and entertainment. The dolphins have become a Beach Cove staple here and our guests really do enjoy watching them from their balconies. We hope to see you back here at the resort soon, thanks again!
