We have been to Myrtle waves 5 times over the last 8 years and it never disappoints. as the kids got older you can drop them off for a fun day while the adults see other attractions.
Plenty of Slides and the wave pool is great.

It's a fun place for young children who can ride several different water slides as many times as they want! With the discount from Food Lions reward card and next day free, it is one of the most economical ways to spend the day at MB. And tons of fun, fun, fun!!!

We visited the park with discounted admission from the Ripken Experience where my son was playing ball. Clean water park. I liked that they offer a free second day with a purchase of admission to the park. We didn't use it, but it is reassuring if the weather turns bad to know you can get in the next day free of charge. It states it is the largest water park in SC. I've been in larger water parks in other states, but it does offer a lot. My only complaint is the surfing/boogie board activity was an extra charge. I've never been in a water park that does that and our boys were very disappointed when we refused to pay extra for one activity.

Got discount tickets fro $24 each. Well worth it. About 8-10 thrill type rides with lots of slides, tubes, etc. We went on a weekday and had practically no lines. Longest wait was maybe 20 minutes. Only gripe would be the lack of direction on where to do things. For example the lockers were toward the BACK of the park which doesn't make a lot of sense. and some oft he rides you are guessing whether for one or two people until up get up further. Spent about three to four hours and was able to do everything. The wave pool was not very good waves. The lazy river allows people to float along without tubes which is nice because there seems to be a limited number of tubes. Would go again for the price. Had a good salad and other variety of fast food type items available.
