Brentwood Restaurant was recommended by a couple that we met at The Wine Shoppe during Saturday night wine tasting (also recommend you stop here for a different selection of wines than anywhere else in NMB). They said they had a great happy hour and they were right - we stopped on that Saturday night and sat at the bar with Crystal. Specialty martinis and inexpensive appetizers are incredible. We liked it so much that we then reserved Tuesday night for dinner...and what a dinner! My wife had the individual portion (although too much) of Beef Wellington and I had some of best duck dishes that I have ever had. These are served in a trio with a crispy leg, thinly sliced breast, and duck sausage all in a wonderful orange sauce. The wine list is also interesting and we had a beautiful bottle of French wine from St. Emillion (2005). Can't say enough good things about Brentwood - the place is a refurbished older house (haunted, of course); the rooms are nicely appointed, quiet, and private; the upstairs bar is beautiful; and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend Brentwood if you want something special during a visit to Myrtle Beach or the surrounding areas.

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed! Just as good as the first time we tried it. Not sure why more people don’t know about this place! We will be back when we return to Myrtle Beach!

We had been to the Brentwood several times before over the years, but always with my wife's parents and always during the holidays. The food was always good but the service was so slow that the overall experience was not great. Last night we decided that we would give it another shot. We wanted to go someplace nice and not drive too far. We were glad we gave them another chance. We had a room upstairs and shortly after we arrived the other diners finished so we had the room to ourselves. The subdued lighting, acoustic music and privacy made for a very romantic setting. Eric was our server. He was very pleasant, attentive, and informative. His service definitely enhanced the experience. They had recently changed the menu and the new options sounded so good it made selecting very difficult. We decided to celebrate our tax refund by ordering chateaubriand for two. It was cooked to perfection and the accompanying sauces were wonderful. We ordered the Belgian chocolate, raspberry souffle for dessert. When it arrived we were a little disappointed because it seemed small but it was so rich that when we started eating it the portion was fine. It was one of the tastiest desserts I've ever had. This chocoholic was very happy. We left thinking it was one of the best dining experiences we'd had in a long time. It was not cheap but I don't mind paying for quality. It was still not fast but the pacing of meal was such that if you are blessed with a delightful dining companion the time flies by.

Visiting from Upstate NY. The service provided by Will and drinks prepared by Marc were excellent and delightful. The first bite exceeded our expectations. The service was spot on thanks to Will. Certainly plan to return. Thanks to all!

We have been going to The Brentwood since 2008. Even though it is about 40 minutes from where we live in Myrtle Beach, it is by far our favorite and best restaurant. We try to go there about twice a month, if not more. It is well worth the drive. We always recommend it to others. We have never had a bad meal there...always top notch food (fresh ingredients always) and service is excellent.. The owners, Eric and Kim Masson, are very accommodating. They make sure all the customers' needs are met.
