It is such a wonderful experience when you go to dinner at a restaurant that understands how to deliver excellence in every way, and where the entire staff seamlessly serves its customers and creates a special evening! Rick Erwin’s West End Grill does this!!
We were celebrating our 34th anniversary and the entire staff made it an even more special experience. Our server Chuck served us flawlessly and he was backed by staff that filled water glasses, brought bread, and whisked away plates with perfect timing.
We opted for the three-course dinner option provided by their participation in Greenville’s Restaurant Week.
We both started with the She Crab Soup a velvety combination of crime broth, crab, and s touch of sherry. Accompanied by a piping hot loaf of focaccia bread, made for a perfect start.
Their wine list is ample and we opted for a Pinot Grigio and a Zinfandel that were perfect.
For entrees I had the 7oz filet that was perfectly prepared and served with five grilled shrimp and grilled asparagus. The presentation was perfect and the tastes on point.
My wife had the horseradish topped salmon and her dish also had wonderful presentation and flavors.
For dessert she had the Nutella bread pudding with salted caramel ice cream and I had the peach shortcake and cream that was incredible too.
