We were in town and wanted to have a cocktail and something to eat. We waited about 30 minutes for a table and the place was half empty. Okay, then we can get our meal fairly quickly, we'd be travelling all day. It took another 10 minutes for a server to approach our table. We placed our orders for drinks and wanted to place our order for food at the same time. She wasn't able to accomplish that. Hmmmm.... Then our server came back with my husband's cocktail and not mine. When we asked her why she just mumbled something we couldn't understand. We asked excuse us, we didn't get that. She said it was too hard to do both. Then we said we'd like to order and she said the kitchen was backed up and it would be at least an hour before she could put in our order. We decided to leave because we didn't want to eat on empty stomachs and who knows if it would be too much trouble. Looks like a great place, too bad the service is so subpar.

If you have a few hours to kill, this is the place. Otherwise, choose elsewhere. Also, for allergy aware patrons - nothing noted on the menu but the waiter understood what a gluten allergy was. No gluten free menu.

Our 2nd visit and our last. First time it was just a party of 2. Service was very slow, food came out separately, and wait staff was overworked and couldn’t get us more than one drink. We were there 2 hours for 2 drinks and a platter of nachos. 45 min wait to get the bill. They need more staff. That’s the issue. Food was fine and drink was fine. It’s a sports bar scene, your basic TV screen everywhere deal.

Second visit was 4/17/18, party of 11, called ahead and made our reservation. Arrived and they acted like we never called. They told us they would make do. Please know our waiter was wonderful. Toure was out waiter and he was as fast as he could be given what’re was dealing with. There were no less than 8 tables that 2 waiters were trying to help - only 2 waiters on the whole 2nd floor of the place. A party of 11 was one of them. 1 bartender for 50+ patrons? Really, not the best at getting staffing up to what it needs to be. We arrived at 5:45pm. Food came out at 6:45pm.....separately. Literally 2 or 3 plates at a time with 5/10 minutes in between. We were all done at different times. We finally got all our food, some got an extra cocktail but at least 5 of us only got 1 cocktail but would have had a 2nd had the bartender been able to keep up. One bartender for a whole 2nd level of a restaurant? Not a good plan. It was before an Eagles concert that evening within blocks of this place. You didn’t plan to be busy?

Seriously need to address the lack of staffing here because this was the same issue when they were packed as when they weren’t as busy and a small party or a large one. Yet on 4/17/18, Toure did skimp on hospitality and tried to help us be patient. None of us were happy with the restaurant as a whole and will likely not visit again.

I dined last week with a group of 20. We had reservations and were seated immediately. I wouldn't have been surprised had we waited a bit for food to be served to that many but the server took our order quickly and checked on us just the right amount throughout the meal. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers and dinner and everyone seemed happy with the food and service.

Stayed at the SpringHill Suites, so this was just a short walk away. very good food, excellent service, and a fun, sports-minded atmosphere.

Had a great night out. It was our first night going out to The Vista. The Ale House was close to where we parked and we decided to give it a shot. Everyone was very welcoming and we got a seat right away. Cheap drink specials and I ordered the meatloaf and my husband had the brisket sandwich. My meatloaf was THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!! So amazing!! You have got to try it. My husband also loved his sandwich. Overall we really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back.
