This is an historic building and it's adding to its charm.

Great location, we left the car in the parking for the whole stay. BTW even if, at the gate it's showing full, it's not; they reserved spaces for the customer.

Around 5pm, there is some wine tasting with cheese and fruit. At 6pm there is a sherry at the lobby. We liked that a lot.

We took the two beds room and both beds were 'sinking' in the middle which made the night not that good for families. Better go for the two-room suite.

My husband and I recently took a trip across the USA. Kings Courtyard Inn was absolutely the best hotel experience we had in our month of cross country travel. The hotel was located in the middle of the downtown historic district. Parking was convenient and the room was large, clean and quiet. The property was truly "pet friendly" and we
were provided with doggie treats as well as lists of dog friendly restaurants and activities in the area. All of the staff, from the front desk, to the food servers and housekeepers were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. The wine reception in the evening, in the beautiful courtyard, was a delightful
bonus each evening. Myself, my husband and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel were all treated like royalty and we would not consider staying anywhere else if we are in
the Charleston area again!.

Incredible location in town; we literally walked to everything the entire week. Staff was friendly and breakfast service (complimentary) was very good. Bed and pillow were not comfortable and room was a bit small.

A historic hotel with Southern hospitality and character you cannot fake. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly as a terrific location, friendly but highly competent service, comfortable and quiet rooms and a great base for touring Charleston. We Ubered and walked everywhere, so cannot comment on parking, although I know it existed. I like my oatmeal every morning, so I was happy in the breakfast dept, but my recollection is that the breakfast menu was a tad limited if that is important.

Rooms are delightful, nicely decorated with modern amenities. Good parking in back. Very nice wine and cheese reception, as well as sherry in the evening. Light breakfast service in the morning. In spite of facing onto King St., very quiet at night. Some rooms face central courtyard. Good wifi.

Quaint, comfortable, clean and a perfect location. Add to that wine and cheese, sherry after dinner and breakfast. Loved it. Bathroom was recently remodeled. Loved all the little courtyard areas. Lots of restaurants, shopping and museums are just steps away.
