My wife and I along with another couple recently visited Beaufort, SC. and this Inn would be our fourth stop on our Road Trip thru the Carolina Low Country. Based on reviews from our trusty Trip Advisor site, we chose the North Street Inn. Kevin, the owner/innkeeper is a real nice man and promptly greeted us on our arrival. He gave us a nice description of the town and the Inn and we were shown to our rooms. This is a nice property and Inn, but needs a bit of TLC. It is a very old and charming home but once again needs a bit of maintenance. Our rooms and common areas were clean and Kevin provided us with some amazing breakfast meals. Very high points in these areas.
Once again, with a bit of maintenance on the building and grounds, this could be a top shelf B&B. Kevin is a wonderful host and this made up for the issues with the property. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would honestly give the North Street Inn a 6.

Room tip: The second floor room has a great view of the salt marsh.

My husband and I stayed at the North Street Inn B&B for four nights while vacationing in Beaufort, SC. The host/owner, Kevin, is very friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful, but needs a little TLC. The breakfasts were superb, including Blueberry Pancakes, Crust-less Spinach Quiche, Blueberry Muffins, Belgian Waffles topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries and home-made whipped cream. We would definitely recommend the North Street Inn B&B and would return should we ever visit Beaufort again.

Room tip: Book early since the number of rooms is limited

This is a old house in a quiet area which suited us perfectly. The rooms were large and well appointed and the interior of the house was spotless. The owner was very helpful and breakfast was adequate. You can walk to town in about ten minutes. The gardens of the house could do with a little attention but this did not detract from the overall experience

Very clean and nicely furnished. Close walking distance to downtown and beautiful view from front porch. Kevin is an excellent host serving a wonderful breakfast each morning and is a wealth of knowledge of Beaufort's rich history. Relaxing just to sit with him and soak in the history. Sweet kitty cat too! Kelly & Tommy Cooney
